IMPORTANT UPDATE (May 2025) – Visa-Free entry for select countries

Citizens from a growing number of countries can now travel to China without needing a visa for short stays. This includes:

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Uruguay.

If you are a passport holder from one of the countries listed above, you do not need a visa or an invitation letter to attend the China International Hair Fair, as long as your stay does not exceed the allowed number of days (typically up to 15 or 30 days depending on the country).

However, visa policies can change. We strongly advise all travelers to double-check the current visa requirements with your local Chinese embassy or consulate before departure.

VISA INVITATION LETTER SERVICE

If your country is not included in the visa-free entry list, you will need to apply for a visa to attend the China International Hair Fair. In most cases, this requires a formal invitation letter from the organizer.
